Duration: 10 months (Part time) extendable
Job Description:
Transcribe and translate Focus Group Discussion & Stakeholders Workshop
Facilitate orientation sessions for women recruitment and capacity building of research
team
Attend meeting of capacity building training and use of software for qualitative data
analysis
To conduct the analysis, code the focus groups and write up / present findings.
Use software and apply for data coding and analysis
Visit the study site as per need of the research
Prepare draft report of the study and research related activities
Contribute in paper writing and publication
Mentor to the field researcher to maintain the quality of the research
Attend, communicate and coordinate with other research team members
Report the progress of the research activities to Research Manager and Technical Lead
Qualification:
Master Degree in Public Health/Health education or other relevant health subjects as
equivalent with more than or equal to 3 years of experience in research.
Skills and Knowledge:
Profound technical skills in writing, data analysis and knowledge on Excel and other tools
Skill on software for data coding and analysis
Skills on facilitation of focus group discussion, orientation, workshop facilitation and
management
Skill on transcribe and translate
Skills on use of information and technology
Good skills on networking, coordination, communication, reporting, management,
advocacy and campaigning.
Knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation, research and documentation.

Field Researchers (2) based in either project site or its surrounding area
Duration: 90 working days within 18 months project period (periodically visit to the project sites as per the need)
Project sites: Ward Number 5 Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality, Ward Number 21 Pokhara Metro Politian city
Job Description:
To coordinate and lead (recruiting the participants, organizing and hosting) the Focus
Group Discussion & Stakeholders Workshop
Support to facilitate the program and activities in the field
Support and facilitate to select the study participants from the field
Facilitate to study participants to fill the daily dairy
Use tablet for data entry and process it
Collect used products from study participants and proceed to send laboratory for analysis at Kathmandu (TU) in safely manner
Frequently visit the study site as per need of the research
Prepare field visit report of the study and other related activities and submit
Prepare feedback report as per the interaction with study participants
Participate and engage in capacity building training of research team
Support to coordination with study participants and other field level stakeholders during
research team visit from Kathmandu and Cardiff University
Communicate and coordinate with study participants, other research team members and
the related organizations
Report the progress of the research activities to Research Manager and Technical Lead
Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/ Public health/health education
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge and experience in survey, research work
Skills on facilitation of focus group discussion, orientation, workshop facilitation and
management
Skills on use of information and technology
Good skills on networking, coordination, communication, reporting, management,
advocacy and campaigning
Knowledge and skills on documentation
At least two wheels Driving skills with license is desirable
